Nanoscale Biological Separations Co-op
This co-op position will be focused on the separation and purification of nanoparticles, including extracellular vesicles, from human stem cells, vascular endothelial cells, and bacterial cells. The co-op student will work with nanoparticle characterization and separation tools, including novel nanopocket membranes being developed in the Gaborski NanoBio Materials Laboratory. The co-op student will work closely with a senior Ph.D. student and Ph.D. scientist in the laboratory as well as scientists at two industrial partners.
Blood-Brain Barrier Co-op
This co-op position will be focused on studying the barrier integrity of the blood-brain barrier in a tissue-on-a-chip system using primary human cells and adult induced pluripotent stem cells.
